Give me allll the neutral toned, easy to match, and comfortable clothes + shoes. Am I right? Not only do I choose my clothing based off this perfect equation, I choose it for my baby as well (which equals happy mama + happy baby).
Social media is a powerful tool, and a dangerous one at that. Do you know how many baby clothing brands/shops are out there floating around on Instagram?! TONS. So when I find a product I love for my son, I’m basically that mom that screams “TAKE ALL MY MONEY.”
One of my favorite stores for Cole is easy accessible, super comfy, and theres always coupons and deals going on. Carter’s is perfect for every little human. As an active mama obsessive clothing buyer- their rewarding moments system is AMAZING. Fo every $1 you spend, you earn 1 point. So naturally, I usually have an abundant amount of reward dollars to use at my next purchase (the onesies speak to me, it’s not my fault).
My next favorite shop, is an everyday, saving grace. I came across Milk Snob Covers via Instagram. When I saw their purpose, styles, and high-quality, I knew I needed to invest. I have breastfed Cole since day 1- he is now 13 months old. This nursing cover made a huge impact on our nursing journey. Breastfeeding is the hard anyway, so when you mix in a bunch of judgy-know-it-alls, and the sheer horror of figuring out how to work the milk machines, adds so much pressure to you and your goal. Not only are these covers made for nursing, but they are perfect for shopping carts and covering your infant carrier from the harsh elements (including those who can’t keep their hands to themselves, aka cheek pinchers). There is no more hiding in the other room when it was time to feed my sweet babe, or feeling uneasy if I’m making anyone uncomfortable. This is literally a life-altering invention to make the world of breastfeeding easier.
Last, but not least let me introduce you to your new favorite baby shoe. Freshly Picked Moccasins . If they made these in adult sizes, I would totally be twinning with my kid. So yes, I have serious shoe envy when I pair these bad boys up with his outfits. This was another company I found via Instagram. Getting a baby dressed is a chore in itself, so trying to put on shoes they won’t walk out of, or rip off, is hard to come by. Insert moccs here. The shoe answer to all your problems. You’re welcome. These moccs are easy to put on, stay on, and they’re easy for my son to walk in. He just turned 13 months, and hasn’t quite grasped the idea of walking, but he’s almost there and these moccasins are a helpful, comfortable aid in reaching this milestone. And can we just talk about how freakin’ adorable they are?!
